Full Time Trenton Weekend Advocate

The Trenton shelter weekend advocate is a full time salaried position with benefits.    This position is a live in position from Friday at 5pm until Monday at 8am.    Duties involved in this position include supervision of shelter facility and clients, answering hotline calls, accepting donations, leading support groups, providing case management services, crisis intervention, and maintaining shelter cleanliness and facility maintenance.

This full time position has a salary range of $31,200 to $38,480 with benefits to includes health, dental, and vision.   Employees also earn sick and vacation pay and holidays.   An Associate’s Degree with 2 years experience required. Full Time Trenton Evening Advocate

This position provides direct client services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence survivors.   This position requires individuals to answer and respond to hotline calls, provide case management, write care plans, lead support groups, participate in community awareness presentation, and fundraising activities.   In addition this position does require you to be a part of a weekend on call rotation approximately every 9 weeks.

The hours for this position are primarily working 2pm-10:30pm Monday-Thursday evenings and 12pm-5:30pm.   However there is some flexibility in adjusting the schedule to accommodate the needs of survivors served (such as court dates and client appointments) and participating in agency training and staff meetings that may occur outside of these shift hours.

Cameron PRN Part Time Staff Members Needed:

Our part time position is on an as needed basis to assist full time staff members with holiday time off, vacations, staff vacancies, and other holes in our schedules.    The hours will not be consistent and will include nights, weekends, and holidays.    The position is responsible for supervision of the shelter facility and clients, communication with on call staff members, accepting phone calls on a crisis hotline and business line, taking messages, completing paperwork, accepting and documenting donations, and providing a trauma centered environment for shelter residents and their children.     This position may include short  and longer weekend shifts that will involve overnight stays.

Green Hills Women’s Shelter is currently seeking a licensed counselor/ therapist to provide individualized counseling sessions.
